To prepare yourself for these mysteries, let’s test how clever you are. Here are ten tricky riddles. How many can you answer correctly?


  1. A parrot crosses the river without getting wet. They didn’t use a bridge or boat. How did they do it?
  2. Which month of the year has 28 days?
  3. I am a fruit, I am a bird, and I am a person. What am I?
  4. What is so fragile that saying its name breaks it?
  5. What occurs once in a minute, twice in a moment, and never in one thousand years?
  6. It has keys, but no locks. It has space, but no room. You can enter, but can’t go inside. What is it?
  7. If you don’t keep me, I’ll break. What am I?
  8. What can you hear, but not see or touch, even though you control it?
  9. I am an odd number. Take away a letter and I become even. What number am I?
