Poetry doesn’t have to be difficult. Let’s create and remix poems from book titles! There are so many creative possibilities with this easy indoor activity.

Instructions:

At your home or library, gather lots of books together. Read the book titles on the spine. Then stack the books with the spines facing you. You can create a poem by stacking the spines in an order!

Keep reordering the stack of books to remix different poems. Recite your poetry to an audience, like your family and friends. Inspire them to make their own stack of poetry. It’s fun to read different poems from the same book titles!

You can be an artist with words. Your poetry journey begins with books!
